Pompeii Rising came together from the story of the famous city of Pompeii which was buried under the ashes of the volcanic eruption of Vesuvius. During this tragedy the sky darkened, the world blackened and everything familiar seemed to be buried under strange cinder.
Yet later, when the city was scouted from ash and lava - stunning infrastructure, breathtaking architecture and a historic amphitheater were unveiled. Now, because of the historical misfortune it has experienced, Pompeii is known around the world as one of the most beautiful historical sites.
There will be moments in our own lives when the ashes seem to cover the sky and the environment we are familiar with is completely changing its shape. If we trust ourselves and the foundations on which we have built our selfdom, the rain will soon come again and wipe away the stains. When the sun illuminates the sky again (which will happen, it’s a law of nature), we are wiser, stronger, and more beautiful than ever 🖤
